01How we grade your gear
Three grades. Pick the one that sounds most like your gear today.
| Grade | What it means |
|---|---|
| Grade 1 | Like new. No corrosion, no real marks. |
| Grade 2 | Works perfectly. Some scratches and small signs of wear, nothing major. |
| Grade 3 | Well used. Scratches, corrosion or repairs, but still does the job. |
We check every item when you bring it in and confirm the grade then. So the final number can move up or down from your estimate.
02What we take
Armstrong front foils, masts, fuselages, stabilisers, wings and boards. If it is in the list above, we will take it.
Some older or slow-selling Armstrong models are not on the list right now. If yours is missing, call the shop on 09 427 9552 and we will talk it through.
03How a trade-in works
- 1. Estimate
Get your number on this page. It takes about a minute.
- 2. Bring it in
Bring the gear to the shop at 306 Hibiscus Coast Highway, Orewa.
- 3. We check it
We look it over with you and confirm the grade.
- 4. Trade up
The trade value comes off the new or used gear you buy from us. We can help you pick the next step for how you ride.
04Trade it in, or sell it yourself?
Straight answer: if you sell privately, you might get more.
Our numbers are a guide, not the full market value. We price trade-ins so we can sell them again quickly. If you have the time, list it yourself and aim high.
Trading in means no listing, no messages, no meet-ups, and your old gear goes straight toward the new setup.
